What To Expect
Although each service will be a little bit different each week, most of our services will have the same aspects and will usually be under 90 minutes.
Music
Our services usually start and finish with music. You will find that most people will sing along from words that are projected onto a screen. You are welcome to sing along if you would like.
Communion
This is a practice which we usually do fortnightly. It is way for us to remember Jesus. A cracker and cup of juice is offered to everyone in their seats. Anyone who loves Jesus is welcome to participate in communion.
Message
A different message is presented each week and is to help people in life by engaging with Jesus and the Bible. The message usually goes for about 25 minutes.
Sunday Kids
Engage Kids
We value children of all ages at Engage. There are many ways for children and families to connect in. One of the ways is with our Kids program on Sundays at 9:30am which is designed to engage the next generation with story-telling, activities and generally having a fun time. Our Kids program is run by fully qualified and trained volunteers in Child Safety, which means your kids will be safe as well as have a great time.
As part of our commitment to child safety, when you come to church with your children, parents or caregivers will need to sign their child(ren) into the program at the start of the service and then sign them out again at the end. Although children will really enjoy the Kids program, children are more than welcome to stay in the service if they would prefer. We also love it when kids are just kids. They bring so much life and laughter to our lives and so we want kids to be kids at church too.

There is no need to dress up. Casual dress is fine.
No. We will not single you out in anyway as a visitor during the service. There is an opportunity for those who are a regular part of the church family to give financially to the church but visitors are not required to. If you would like to give though, you are more than welcome.
No. You are welcome to bring a Bible if you have one, but you don’t need to.
Yes. At the end of the service people usually stay around for some light refreshments. It’s a good way to meet some new people. Visitors are very welcome to join in if they would like.
Absolutely. We want you and your child to be comfortable. There will be space for where you can sit with the pram next to you.
Yes – all are welcome regardless of your vaccination status. Engage complies with all Covid requirements as stipulated by the NSW government for churches and we have a Covid Safety plan.
